Director, writer, Papaya Films
As a kid, Krzysiek ran around with a VHS camera, shooting skateboarding films and copying music videos of his rap idols. He started his professional career as graphic designer and illustrator, then moved on to become a creative director, before finally fully pursuing his dream of directing as half of Bujas/Kosz duo. Working solo for several years, he developed his own audiovisual language inspired by films, music, literature, video games and anything else that fell into his hands. Seamlessly blending elite with popular and modern with forgotten, he creates stories with a human at their core. Krzysiek has been using a wheelchair for several years, but that hasn’t stopped him from thriving professionally. He doesn’t see his disability as a barrier. For Krzysiek, a wheelchair is not a symbol of limitations – rather than letting physical challenges hinder his passion, he uses them as motivation to become even more dedicated to filmmaking. Thanks to Krzysiek, the world of advertising is becoming more inclusive, and his career journey serves as a lesson for those who need strength in overcoming challenges.
